En Real Leather
Real leather
Bobux shoes are handmade from high quality real leather free of harmful and irritating substances because:
- baby's skin is extremely delicate and sensitive
- children's feet sweat significantly more than adults' feet
- children sometimes suck and put their slippers in their mouths

Traditional methods of tanning the leather use heavy metals and chemicals that could thus enter children's bodies.
Bobux shoes are dyed with natural water-based dyes, so the dyes used in our products are non-irritating and non-allergenic.
Bobux has made efforts to use leather tanning and dyeing methods that do not use substances that are harmful to health and the environment.
The result is an exceptionally soft, completely safe for children and environmentally friendly (completely biodegradable) real leather.
No heavy metals or other toxic substances were used during its production.
Bobux meets the following safety and environmental standards:
- British and European Standard BS 5665 : EN71 Part 3 (Toy Safety Regulations and heavy metal content) - testing was carried out by LAZRA NZ laboratory.
- Japanese Industrial Standard JIS/L1041 - testing was carried out by LAZRA NZ laboratory
- German TUV Testing Laboratory accreditation for product safety for the presence of banned materials and substances in the leather tanning process - testing was carried out by TUV Germany laboratory
